Over five weeks, children will explore new materials and techniques in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, led by local artist Sara Melin and inspired by the exhibition Edge. Sessions will include weaving inspired by coastal landscapes, drip drawing with watercolour and salt, creating plaster imprints of marine life, plus drawing and sculpture. The club is for 5-7 year olds and will take place every Wednesday. Sara Melin is a Swedish-born artist and designer with extensive experience in the creative industry, including pop-up shops and installations for cultural institutions. She is also passionate about education and has a strong background in teaching.
