Funny Women Live in Brighton

Funny Women’s longest-standing and most successful comedy night, Funny Women Live in Brighton at Komedia, showcases the very best in new female-identifying and non-binary comedy talent. Produced by local comedian Ali Jay, it features acts from the Funny Women Awards, the professional circuit and nurturing new and upcoming talent.

This comedy show provides something for everyone and is perfect for an intimate evening of laughter. Funny Women was created in 2002 by Lynne Parker and now has a programme of community events in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Paris, Basel, Brussels, Dublin, Montreal and London. The organisation is at the vanguard of nurturing and promoting female comedy talent — from finding and mentoring new acts through to the annual Funny Women Awards.

People who have attended the event have praised it, saying it's a great night out with belly laughs guaranteed, a cool venue, and a credit to Brighton. The event will take place in the Komedia Studio with unreserved seating and is for ages 18+.
