Shaun the Sheep has made a delightful appearance at the Royal Pavilion and other Brighton & Hove Museums locations, thanks to a special fundraising initiative by the Martlets Hospice. The city has been graced with various incarnations of Shaun as part of this campaign. In the lobby of the Brighton Museum & Art Gallery, a magnificent Shaun named Regency Shaun is showcased. Over at the Hove Museum of Creativity, Wolf in Shaun’s clothing is displayed prominently in front of the museum. Additionally, the sites will host three mini flocks, each uniquely decorated by primary schools from various corners of Brighton. These charming sculptures will be stationed at the Brighton Museum Shop, Hove Museum of Creativity, and Booth Museum of Natural History. This exciting initiative is expected to increase foot traffic at the city sites as people participate in engaging trails and challenges to capture selfies with each of the whimsical sheep sculptures. The trail and map can be downloaded on the Shaun by the Sea webpage. After the display period ends on 5th November, the sheep will be collected and later auctioned on 27th November to raise money for Martlets Hospice. The design of Regency Shaun was created by local artist Sarah Arnett, and the preview event was hosted at the Royal Pavilion where Martlets and their ambassador Fatboy Slim revealed Regency Shaun. They were joined by a group from Aardman, the studio behind Shaun the Sheep and Wild in Art, who have partnered with Martlets to bring the trail to the city.
